A day here wouldn't be complete without a trip to - you guessed it - Town Park. The girls requested playing in the water and as you see the guys were more than happy to practice skipping rocks. Both girls got soaked and had to have wardrobe changes. We went over to the playscape but the weather turned cooler and it looked like it was going to rain (like it has every afternoon we've been here). So, we headed into town to get some lunch. The thing we've noticed is that most restaurants here are a bar & grill. They're pretty small, too, so it isn't like you can avoid the bar part. We opted for lunch at the Sweet Life since they had burgers & sandwiches along with the ice cream and candy. Riley napped through most of lunch (which Coralee would have NEVER done). Ken took Coralee back to the room for a nap and the rest of us went shopping. The gondola ride on the way back was a little scary since it was squeaky. Yikes! Not the way to ride it for the last time! We'll make a trip down to the grocery store before we go to bed tonight so the girls can push the "little buggies" they have there. It's the only thing HEB could do to be more kid friendly.
