It's been a rather uneventful day thankfully. Lots and lots of driving, though! We saw miles and miles of Texas for sure! We started the day with a trip to Starbucks and Coralee had her first steamed milk. She insisted it was coffee. We won't argue with that one. The girls had a great time playing on the playground at Chick-fil-A during lunch. One really neat thing we saw was the wind farm out in Sweetwater (near Abilene). Some quotable moments from Coralee..... "Look at those see-saws. What are they cutting?" which was said in response to seeing her first oil wells. She did ask to go home to play with her "chichen" (translated to kitchen) - we're too far from home for that, honey! This evening we had dinner at Golden Corral and then came back to the hotel to swim and tire the girls out. They have had a ton of fun together but you can definitely tell they've been cooped up in the car most of the day. Coralee didn't take a nap (other than 30 minutes before lunch) so between that and the swimming, she went to sleep without any arguments. Tomorrow's an early morning.... we need to leave at 6:30 to get to Durango in time to go to the train museum. Thankfully with the time change, it'll be 7:30 to us. I am learning the fine art of bathing the night before and pulling my hair back into a pony tail. Ah, the luxury of longer hair!
