Last night Riley had to go to the clinic for nursemaid's elbow. That was exciting enough. As we were leaving Telluride, we gave Coralee a bagel and she ate about a third of it. I fell asleep somewhere along the curving roads coming out of the mountains and awoke to Coralee saying her stomach hurt. I was hoping it didn't mean much of anything but then she threw up the bagel and whatever milk she had drank. Ick! We pulled over, changed her clothes and cleaned up the carseat (thankfully just the straps) as much as we could. Still, the smell was pretty bad. I have psychological issues with throw up.... someone does it and I feel like I'm going to lose it too. I didn't thankfully. We're about to go to bed for the evening after 11 1/2 hours on the road, dinner and a swim in the pool. Thankfully this was a really relaxing vacation and we're well rested.
Oh, and about these pictures.... I've been trying to work on the digital scrapbook for the trip and while I'm really excited about using a different program (Picaboo) with all kinds of backgrounds, nothing seemed just right. So, today as we were driving down the road, we took some pictures that will hopefully be great for that purpose. Obviously I need to do some "cropping" so the Tex Tag doesn't show but you get the idea of what we saw today. We call Coralee's sleeping position the "yoga" pose. She's held her hands that way (minus the Burger King french fry container) since she was an infant when she'd fall asleep in the car.
